Both ENDS
Ik ben voor Both ENDS in het groene Guatemala. Maar hoe idyllisch het ook lijkt: in dat groen zitten veel problemen verborgen. Daar kom ik achter tijdens een trip naar de suikerrietplantages aan de kust.

Twee door Atradius DSB verzekerde projecten in de haven van het Braziliaanse Suape leidden tot grote sociale problemen en milieuschade. Both ENDS helpt de lokale bevolking hun recht te halen.
Op 12 november doet het Gerechtshof in Den Haag opnieuw uitspraak in de klimaatzaak tegen Shell, waarin Both ENDS medeaanklager is. Vooruitlopend op deze uitspraak vroegen we onze partners waarom deze Nederlandse rechtszaak belangrijk is voor het Mondiale Zuiden.
Both ENDS has been asked by FMO to comment on its draft investment approach to responsibly managed forest plantations. To follow are a number of observations and recommendations, partially informed by Both ENDS long legacy of working in the forest & land arena, in dialogue with international donors, philanthropic foundations, companies, certification bodies and notably with forest dependent communities and other land users.
