Both ENDS appeals to me because of the joint focus on improving global human and environmental rights. In my view, these are the most important global social challenges for the decades to come. I am convinced that creating an empowered civil society in developing countries is absolutely necessary to generate sufficient international attention for a just and sustainable world.

Fulfilling the role of Treasurer in addition to my regular activities in financial services is therefore a nice and welcome fulfillment of this conviction. It gives me great satisfaction to contribute to a fairer, healthier and more beautiful world that future generations can also enjoy. In my opinion, a financially healthy organization is the basis from which Both ENDS can achieve its goals, and this is what I will devote a lot of energy to.
