About Both ENDS

Both ENDS is an environmental justice mobiliser, combining advocacy and policy expertise to transform unjust systems worldwide, while strengthening the power of civil society to lead this change. From advocacy to implementation, Both ENDS transforms systems that profoundly impact people and our planet, including trade, finance, and beyond. In collaboration with a 500+ partner network across Latin America, Africa, and Asia, Both ENDS connects local voices to global decision-makers to build new systems that prioritise environmental integrity and community livelihoods.

  • play a leading role in launching and implementing Both ENDS' new visual identity and website, both of which are under development and expected to be launched this year;

  • proactively reach out to Dutch and international press and media outlets to build relationships and secure coverage for our work, serving as the primary press contact person for inquiries and interviews;

  • be responsible for coordinating the development of our annual report.

  • Demonstrable, broad experience in communication, including editing, strategy development, social media, press relations, and staying on top of trends and developments in the field;

  • Connector who enjoys coaching colleagues on their communication tasks;

  • Experience with working in environments where you need to navigate multiple interests and stakeholders;

  • Experience with working in multicultural and international settings, and are comfortable engaging with partners in the Global South and stakeholders across different cultural, political, and geographic contexts;

  • Experience with working with basic graphic design tools is an advantage;

  • Full professional fluency in written and spoken English and a good command of Dutch (or are willing to develop this). Additional languages are a bonus, but not a requirement.
