Telapak works with Both ENDS on the River Basin Management project: A Negotiated Approach, an innovative approach for river basin management in various countries (for example: South Africa, Bolivia and India).
Telapak and Both ENDS also partner to support civil society organisations, developing sustainable economical alternatives - such as FSC-certified timber plantations that are controlled by local communities - and sustainable small-scale mining and the development of non-timber forest products.
added value of partnership
Both ENDS and Telapak exchange information and their respective experiences with CSOs, often complementing one another, especially when it comes to the socio-political obstacles that companies face when they try to get FSC- certification. Both partners also helped each other with lobbying for the 'River Basin Management' project.
