NAPE (National Association of Professional Environmentalists)

NAPE runs the secretariat of the African Rivers Network (ARN). Along with Both ENDS, NAPE aims to prevent unsustainable large scale infrastructural works in Uganda and the rest of Africa, and to develop sustainable alternatives.

With Both ENDS' support, NAPE has been effectively lobbying the World Bank and the European Investment Bank (EIB), with the objective to achieve transparency in decision making and to respect the institutions' own behavioural codes.
